this event is different than the workshops in that you will have the opportunity to let your creativity flourish and hand-build with freedom a small form of your choosing, like a trinket dish, incense holder, or small cup, you choose!

*this is ideal for those who have attended at least one ceramics workshop with Erica Lores or those who have a basic understanding of working with clay. this is primarily a self guided experience however erica is available to give you tips and assistance as needed*

all levels are welcome!

you will have the opportunity to use either brown-speckled clay or light-toned clay. after you have the option to choose whether you would like your piece clear glazed by erica or opt to leave it natural/unglazed or return for a glazing class at a later date(additional cost).

this event is sliding scale pricing-pay what you can (minimum of $35 per person with $55 being the true cost including all materials, clay, and clear glazing done by hand by Erica) as an effort to make ceramics accessible and affordable. please pay what feels right financially to you. $65 includes 1.5 lbs of clay for those who would like to make a larger project: mug, bud vase, etc)

includes: option of brown speckled clay or light-toned clay, tools, materials, firing, and clear glazing of 1 piece ($10 per each additional piece fired) - pieces will be ready for pick up within 4-5 weeks
